for our reconstruction, the original proportions and construction have been deliberately altered to create a more defined silhouette. the two front pockets on the right side have been removed, leaving a cleaner, uninterrupted surface and creating an intentional imbalance across the front.
the original button placket has been repositioned, pulling the garment across the body to reduce its volume and create a pronounced diagonal fastening. rather than introducing a new closure, the existing construction is used to reshape the shirt itself.
the piece is finished with our logo embroidered into the neck, adding a subtle signature while retaining the markings, wear and individual characteristics of the original garment.
these interventions shift the proportions of the original field uniform, transforming a utilitarian military garment into a sculptural, contemporary overshirt while retaining its functional origins.
